27 March 2023.

CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING MAJOR ISSUES THROUGHOUT SITE CAUSED BY UPDATE TO LATEST PHP VERSION.  HOPEFULLY THESE WILL BE FIXED ASAP.

27 March 2023 Latest Book is Due out in April of 2023 is a volume on Robin Hood and Other ITC Swashbuckling Collectibles.

27th September 2022. The first true update to the site in a very long time, is the addition of a section for the 1957 ITC / TPA series Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans.  Also, we now have had to bow to sadly adding watermarks to photographs used on this site. At present this only affects newly added images, but all old images will soon be being replaced in this way.

15th June 2022, Very little in the way of updates to the site recently, but two more books have been published. These are The Saint and Return of the Saint Collectibles, and The Prisoner and Danger Man Collectibles. Due out in April of 2023 is a volume on Robin Hood and Other ITC Swashbuckling Collectibles. Then due in June 2023 an Indiana Jones Collectibles book. More titles are in preparation and will follow soon.

27th Aug 2020. Minor alterations to the section on Sir Francis Drake

18th Aug 2020. The sections on both The Buccaneers and Sword of Freedom have been updated and expanded.

16th Aug 2020. The section on The Adventures of Sir Lancelot expanded.

23rd Nov 2019. Updates are long overdue and several will be occurring shortly.  This lack of recent updates is largely due to working on two new books which have now been published by Amberley Books in the UK. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Collectables and The Avengers and New Avengers collectables, autographed copies of both books can be purchased directly from this site. Research is currently being undertaken for further TV / Film related collectables books, so looking for other collectors of classic television who may be interested in assisting with research or photographs. If you feel you maybe able to help please contact us via the contacts page of this site.

Jan 29th 2017 Still a few behind the scenes issues but a few new items have been added including an exciting Girl from U.N.C.L.E. item, a new page for the 70’s series The Invisible man also a couple of Indiana Jones,  Green Hornet and Get Smart items.

Sept 22nd 2016 Several Man from U.N.C.L.E. Magazines added. A few Danger Man bits, Bionic woman items, Bonanza Jigsaw and a Supercar comic.

August 6th 2016 Added today an Interview with Marcel R.Van Cleemput . Now this name might not mean a lot to many of you, but he was the chief designer at Corgi toys throughout the 1960’s and 70’s. As such he was responsible for designing and creating Corgi models such as the James Bond Aston Martin, Green Hornet car, Batmobile, and the Avengers Gift set, to name but a small selection of his creations.

July 21st 2016 You can now find us on Twitter @LStorpingMuseum and on Facebook.

June 20th 2016 Fairly quiet on the site last few weeks due to lack of time. The site was recently promoted on Local radio station Hailsham FM when John was interviewed about all things Spy-fi.

April 30th 2016 The first interview to appear on this site is now live. This joint exclusive Ian Ogilvy interview can be viewed here.

April 3rd 2016 Additions today include Italian cinema posters for The Persuaders, The Saint, The Adventurer and Danger Man, a further 28 issues of the German magazine for this series added as well . Also various other items for the U.N.C.L.E Movies. German cinema items for The Baron. Meanwhile both TV Comics and TV Tornados continue to be added along with other items around the site.

March 20th 2016 OK it might not look like a lots been happening here recently, but quietly behind the scenes lots still going on. In the middle of posting several hundred TV Comic on to the site. Several items added to Doomwatch, Adam Adamant and to many other places around the site.

January 5th 2016 More restructuring, Man from U.N.C.L.E. Books now have their own section as do Man from U.N.C.L.E. Magazines / Comics and Man from U.N.C.L.E. Trading cards.

January 3rd 2016 Some restructuring now means that the 1960’s Man from U.N.C.L.E movies have now got their own subsection. Improvements like this will hopefully make larger collections of specific TV shows like the Man from U.N.C.L.E easier to navigate around.

Items on display will eventually range from Adam Adamant Lives!, through to Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea. It is still very much a work in progress, and only a very small fraction of the collection’s several thousand items is at present on this site. At the moment the priority is getting the collection up onto the site, so some descriptions are very basic or non-existent, over the coming months as and when time permits these will be improved upon.
