Comic book based a French TV series that possibly never saw broadcast in the UK. Translated title is Terry the Sling. Set in 1360 France is occupied by the English and Terry fights against English occupation. (I wonder why it wasn’t shown in the UK). It almost seems to be a French version of Robin Hood.
A secondary strip in this comic is “Destination Danger”, the French title for Danger Man. The story contained is “John Drake Contre Les Mafiosi” which was later published in the UK in the book “Top TV series starring Danger Man in War against the Mafia” along with a second story.

American Board Game based on the series produced by Milton Bradley in 1966.
Box artwork shows Drake hitting an armed guard through a plasterwork banister. Artwork is a good likeness of Patrick McGoohan, while a small head photo is also shown. The game takes the form of a race between two agents to retrieve a briefcase, and return it to their headquarters. Game board has painted scenes along each edge, while playing pieces are four coloured Target silhouettes, each with a slot so as to retain small card briefcase. Also contained are a die and a deck of cards representing different forms of transport. Can be played by up to four players.
As I am unable to read German I am unable to fully give details for this. Title appears to be “Mord Auf Bestellung” “Geheimauftrag fur John Drake 1” (Secret Task for John Drake 1) by Ralph Smart. While this was defiantly produced in the sixties I am unable to find a publication date inside. It would however appear that it was translated from English by Wolfgang Lohmann and the publisher is possibly Signum Taschenbucher. From studying the back cover it looks like there may have been a second title in this series “Gasthof zum Galgen” but unsure.
